June 23rd, 2010Creating musical “The Sensual Night” i’ve been inspired by the books of Margit Sandemo and the music of my childhood- as a tribute to The Kelly Family, i’ve decided to place the song “When the Last Tree” with it’s unique, so important message for the world in the play. As we are non-proffesional group from Poland, Krakow, i’ve translated the lyrics to polish, so more people could uderstand and enjoy it. The most wonderfull expierience was, when some of the audience started to weap, and after our performance told us “Keep on singing( sounds familiar?:)), it’s SO important to remind the world to protect our planet!” Thanks to all, who’s been helping us to create our first play! www.grupamandragora.pl

One day, when an accident occurs on the river, she meets Vermund Tark. A man who has wealth and power but prefers to preoccupy himself in outdoor labour. Elisabe0t is unusually shy around this rough and handsome man. And so later that same day, when he comes to their farm to propose, she feels disappointed, when he asks for her hand in marriage on the behalf of his younger brother… Elisabet does not agree to get engaged to a man she has never met, but she agrees to become a maid and a companion to Mr. Tark’s relative, an elderly woman who is mentally ill. This way she gets an opportunity to get to know her potential husband and parents-in- law before making her decision.
